🌱 What Happened
In an extraordinary display of youthful energy, a group of young individuals, named ‘Team Energy’, from various parts of India, came together to transform the rural landscapes of their country. The initiative, launched on 18th January 2020, aimed to improve the quality of life in small villages and bring about sustainable change.
💡 Impact
Over the course of the year, they were able to mobilize resources and manpower to bring electricity to 100 remote villages using solar energy, clean up polluted water bodies and plant more than 10,000 trees. They also initiated education programs for village children who were previously deprived of proper schooling facilities.
