🌱 What Happened
In an inspiring initiative, a group of young Indians, under the banner of ‘Youth For Change’, have positively contributed to the development of remote and underprivileged villages in Rajasthan, India. Beginning in 2019, their efforts have led to significant improvements in sanitation, education, and community well-being.
💡 Impact
The group focused on three key areas: sanitation, education, and women empowerment. With their help, over 30 villages installed community toilets and sanitation systems. They also helped to open 15 schools, providing education to more than 800 children, many of whom are the first in their families to attend school. In addition, they initiated a women empowerment program, conducting workshops that trained more than 500 women in various skills, enabling them to start their own small businesses.
