🌱 What Happened
In the bustling city of Mumbai, India, an unexpected group of heroes emerged. The story dates back to October 2021, when a group of school children became the saviours for animals in distress. They formed a group called Small Steps, Big Impact.
💡 Impact
These compassionate young souls have rescued over 50 injured and abandoned animals since their inception. The animals, ranging from dogs to birds, receive medical care and a temporary shelter until they find a loving home.
- Neha Singh, a 13-year-old member of the group, stated, “We believe every life is worth saving. It feels wonderful to see these animals recover and find forever homes.”
📍 The Bigger Picture
Their selfless act, spreading kindness and compassion, serves as an inspiration for others to follow. They are an embodiment of the saying, “Be the change you want to see in the world”.
- A local NGO, Animal Rescue Foundation, has recognised their efforts and is now actively supporting them.
Their success story is a testament to the fact that age is no barrier when it comes to making a difference. Their story sends out a powerful message of love, empathy, and care towards our furry friends.
