A humble teacher from rural India, Rajesh Kumar Sharma, has brought a significant change in his village through the power of education. Over a decade ago, Rajesh started a free school under a metro bridge in New Delhi for children who could not afford formal education.

Today, the school, fondly known as the Under the Bridge School, educates more than 200 students daily. The free school has transformed the lives of hundreds of children, providing them a launchpad to break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy. Many of its graduates have furthered their education and now hold respectable jobs in various fields.
