🌱 What Happened
On a sunny day in Jaipur, India back in April 2022, a young boy named Rohan noticed a little bird struggling on the ground. Without hesitation, Rohan decided to help. With his parents’ guidance, he took the injured sparrow to the nearby animal rescue center, Jaipur Charity Trust.
💡 The Rescue
The bird was provided with immediate medical care. It was diagnosed with a broken wing, but the vets reassured Rohan that the bird, now named Chirpy, would be able to fly again after some time and care.
📍 The Bigger Picture
Rohan’s act of kindness didn’t stop there. It sparked his interest in animal welfare and he, along with his classmates, started a campaign in their school to create awareness about the importance of helping injured animals. They raised funds for the animal rescue center and also volunteered there during weekends.
