🌱 The Unsung Hero
Meet Ram Bharti, a humble school teacher from Bihar, India, who spent nearly 20 years of his life to bring education and light to the remote villages of his state. His journey began in 2001, when he realized that the lack of electricity was severely hampering children’s ability to study after sundown.
💡 The Entrepreneurial Leap
Unwilling to let darkness hinder the path of education, Ram Bharti learned about solar-powered lamps. He invested his savings to buy and distribute these lamps to the children in his village, ensuring that their studies were never left in the dark. He also trained the villagers on how to use and maintain these lamps.
